Aimée Pugh

LPC | Licensed Professional Counselor

I offer a safe therapeutic space emphasizing deep compassion and unconditional respect for your life experiences. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Board Certified Art Therapist, who uses a collaborative, strength-based approach that is neurodiversity and LGBTQIA affirming.  I use a combination of mindfulness-based strategies, skills of CBT and DBT, and techniques of Art Therapy as the main components of my approach.

What would you like the focus of your therapeutic work to be? What are the barriers standing in the way of greater contentment and internal peace?  What would you like to change, create, or rebuild?  I am committed to supporting you to ask the questions that matter most to you right now.

I work with young adults, and adults of all ages who may be struggling with aspects of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  I also work with those experiencing anxiety, loss and grief.  My previous clinical experience has included work with children and caregivers who are coping with multiple losses, anxiety, and challenges related to neurodiversity.  I have also had experience working with caregivers and parents who are feeling overwhelmed by the demands of parenting children with ADHD, ASD or anxiety.

I accept Aetna & Cigna insurances.

I am available for in-person sessions at the Northern Liberties location, as well as teletherapy.
