LMFT | Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Hey and welcome to my bio. A little bit about me, I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have worked with a variety of clients with a diverse range of concerns. I am passionate about working with people who suffer from or care for someone with substance abuse issues, postpartum women trying to navigate their new identity while staying true to themselves. Some other areas of interest include but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, recovery, trauma, grief, life transitions, ADHD, relationship issues, parenting, self-esteem, and women’s issues. As a standard practice, My approach combines solution focused, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral and trauma informed.
My counseling style is engaging and person-first. I am pragmatic and direct while being compassionate and respectful. It is important to me to be able to collaborate with you and meet you where you are at each interaction by incorporating different therapeutic techniques. Identifying and setting your goals is a team-effort, and together we will work at your comfort level to effectively establish and achieve goals that are tailored to your life while developing healthy skills that encourage self-discovery.
It takes a lot of strength and will power to seek counseling and I understand how vulnerable and overwhelming you may feel. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you
