“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain.” — Matt Haig
You deserve to feel heard and seen. You are worthy of having a compassionate and accepting environment where you can feel empowered to change, grow, and evolve.
Therapy is a partnership, and my role in your wellness journey is to help you develop into the best version of yourself, by overcoming stressors, shifting perspectives, and fostering resilience. I strive to understand your subjective experience and cultural systems through collaboration and individualized goals.
I have my M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University, and have experience working with a diverse range of individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, transitional stress, and relationship difficulties. I am passionate about providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for young adults and adults to restore peace, balance, and wellbeing.
My work with clients is a mindfulness and strengths-based approach woven together with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we will increase awareness into how your thoughts, perceptions, and actions influence the way you feel emotionally, along with uncovering patterns to reduce future suffering. We will focus on increasing self-compassion, exploring values, and harnessing existing strengths to develop a greater ability to navigate life’s challenges and live a meaningful life.
Inner peace and lasting positive change are on your horizon. Your journey toward wellness is worthy of celebration! It is my pleasure to walk alongside you on your self-discovery toward growth, healing, and resilience.
I accept Aetna & Cigna Insurances.
I offer in-person therapy in West Chester, PA, & Teletherapy.
