I am a humanistic therapist who is aligned with intersectional feminist values. I believe that individuals have the innate power to heal, grow, and develop on a path of their determination. I work with people working through transitions, relationship changes, and self-discovery at any stage. If you are experiencing challenging shifts, I can provide a non-judgmental space to find a way forward.

I value feminist and systems approaches to therapy, where individuals are conceptualized as the products of their context, and not just as existing in a vacuum. My clinical point of view is sex-positive, body-positive, trauma-sensitive, and anti-oppressive. My sessions are grounded in trauma-informed care, which for me means that I consider not what is “wrong” with you, but what has happened in your life before today.

I am interested in supporting individuals through matrescence, the process of becoming a new parent, particularly birthing mothers. Much like adolescence, this liminal period is a major transition where we suddenly become a primary attachment figure to a brand new human being we’re still getting to know. I want to work with you if you are struggling with any phase of matrescence, including TTC periods, pregnancy, postpartum preparedness, PPD, PPA, trauma from TTC and/or giving birth, adjustment to parenthood, returning to work or school, FMLA and Title IX concerns, lactation, sleep, and giving birth after physical or sexual trauma.

I enjoy supporting people across the spectrum in exploring their identities, to live proudly in a way that matches your values and internal self-understanding. Whether in pursuit of finding a partner, community, companionship, or gaining self-understanding with regard to gender, sexuality, relationship style, religion, spirituality, vocation, and more, I provide open space to explore where you identify in this vast world of possibilities.

My approach: I value collaborating with clients on processing, growing, and changing at a pace set by you. My style is gentle, focused, organized, and even can be humorous, when clinically appropriate. Drawing from feminist theory, I believe all people have basic human rights, chief among them is the right to pleasure and joy. As a trauma therapy provider, I make space for clients to explore their sexuality, sensuality, and joys following trauma and abuse as a necessary part of recovery.

As part of my training, I completed clinical internships at the University of the Arts Counseling Center and the School District of Philadelphia. Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked for ten years in the dance field as an artist, writer, and manager in professional dance companies. I have extensive experience supporting creatives in getting projects off the ground and to completion. I am a lifelong Philadelphian, a mom, and a fan of non-fiction.

If you think we may be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out for a consultation call to start our work together.
