MS | Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling (In supervision toward licensure)
I believe a therapeutic relationship is focused on collaboratively creating space for your healing, growth, and comfortable self-discovery.
My approach to therapy is primarily influenced on individual client needs which means meeting you where you are at in your journey. We will explore past situations, environmental factors, and internal experiences that show up in your daily life. Together, we will create an individualized treatment with my knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The human existence is something I am deeply interested in and I bring to the therapeutic environment a curious and accepting mind that helps us understand and embrace what makes you uniquely you.
As a trauma-informed counselor, I am happy to provide the opportunity to explore the ways your life experiences have impacted your mind, body, and spirit. Taking a mindfulness approach to trauma, I aim to reconnect you with the present by utilizing mind and body interventions while creating a safe space to explore the past.
I primarily work with individuals’ ages 15+ and I specialize in working with trauma survivors, relationship issues, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and LGBTQ+ populations.
I accept Aetna & Cigna Insurances.
I offer in-person therapy in Fishtown & Teletherapy.
