Pre-Licensed Professional, in supervision towards clinical licensure
Hey! As a therapist, I try to provide a stress-free breathing space, where we can go at the pace you feel comfortable journeying. If you’re moving a mile-a-minute and can’t manage to slow down, finding it difficult to get out of bed, or in an in-between place where everything feels sort of “stuck”, I aim to sit and be present with you, so we can figure out a path together.
I practice Adlerian and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which means we’ll work to uncover what you value, what’s actually important to you and how you define yourself, and explore how to move forward with that in mind. Get more of ‘you’ in your day. I love working with clients who sometimes wonder ‘why did I just do that?’ and tap into acceptance of yourself as you are. With body image work, I endorse Health At Every Size and intuitive eating, focusing on how to reduce the stress and mental gymnastics around food and eating in an individual’s life.
For those wanting to evaluate the role drugs and alcohol have in their life, I take a harm reduction approach, inviting curiosity for those who want to work on their relationship with substances. Sessions with me are like a conversation with someone who ‘gets it’, focused on empathy, grounding and a bit of humor – working together for you to navigate the challenges of life with confidence.
I received my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University, and am currently embarking on the final stages of licensure. I strive to practice in ways that are trauma-informed and culturally-informed, taking each individual within their context. I work with individuals, youths 8 and older, and offer relationship counseling that is kink-positive and available for consensual non-monogamous (CNM) relationships.
It is an honor to see you through this journey, so together we can explore how to boldly live as our most healed and authentic self.
